Scandic Safari was founded in Tanzania in 2007 by Elia Michael from Tanzania and Jens Sylvestersen from Denmark. Scandic Safari is a Tanzanian company based in Arusha Tanzania and you will find the Scandic Safari office at Levolosi road in the area Kaloleni. Elia Michael has been a professional tour guide since 1996. Elia has been climbing all the big mountains in Tanzania and been a tour guide in almost all Safari Parks in Tanzania.  Jens Sylvestersen has been visiting Tanzania since 1987 and been living in Mwanza (Lake Victoria) from 1993-1994. Today he is living in Denmark, but he visit Tanzania some months every year. Safaris-R-Us is a registered tour company (#1040) founded by Richard and Gemma Sisia in order to achieve two dreams: First, they want to showcase all that Tanzania, Rwanda and Kenya have to offer, as there is so much diversity in the cultures, landscapes and wildlife of East Africa.  These natural wonders include the Serengeti Plains, Ngorongoro Crater, Mount Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar and the Mountain Gorillas, just to name a few. Richard has over a quarter of a century's experience taking visitors on safari, and has assembled his own group of professional driver guides for Safaris-R-Us, each with a minimum of 15 years experience. Second, they want to continue supporting the people of Tanzania through education.  Richard and Gemma, his Australian born wife, founded the The School of St Jude in 2002. Now in 2013, the school provides a free, quality education to approx 1650 students and employs over 400 Tanzanian men and women.  For every guest booking of a 2 day adventure or more, Safaris-R-Us makes a donation of $50 per client to the work of St Jude's.
