EMDSC provides drilling , exploration and laboratory analytical services for its customers. The company has well equipped core drilling machines , geophysical and surveying equipments, fully furnished laboratories and highly qualified professionals to deliver the services efficiently. The core drilling equipments has the capacity  of drilling up to 1000m depth and has the facility of full whole stabilized core barrel system, Wedging accessory to defect borehole, water supply tankers and pumps, heavy duty equipments (i.e. bulldozers, graders…).   EMDSC is involved in prospecting and exploration for precious metal (gold and platinum), rare metal (Ta, Nb, Be, Li, Sn,etc), industrial minerals (kaolin, quartz, feldspar, diatomite, bentonite, dolomite, limestone), decorative stones (granite, marble) and gemstones among which aquamarine, peridot, amethyst, red garnet and precious opal can be cited. The exploration and research core process has two main objectives; the first one is to look additional reserves in areas around the existing mining operation in order to extend the life of mines; and the second one is to look for economical mineral deposits elsewhere in the country, particularly in areas where mineral occurrence were reported.

Blue Nile Tannery is a subsidiary of Gaafar enterprise and it has been operational since 1992. Located at Sebeta, in the out skirts of Addis Ababa, Blue Nile tannery produces finished leather products for the shoe industry. It processes goat, sheep and hide leather to finished products. Its present annual production capacity is 3 million square feet of sheep shoe upper, 1.2 million square feet of goat suede and 0.72 million square feet of cow calf. The products of the tannery are mainly (90%) targeted to foreign market and the remaining (10%) being directed to the local market. The company plans to increase its production and the amount of finished products it delivers to the international market.

Cybernetics International Services Limited was incorporated in 1992 to engage in Oil and Gas trading activities. Between 1996 and 1999, the company leased a petrol station in Delta State, Nigeria and operated as an independent marketer of petroleum products on retail basis. It exited that business in 1999 on relinquishing the petrol station to its owner. Between year 2000 and 2004, the company engaged in the supply of various types of spare parts and equipment to the major oil producing companies in the upstream sector of the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria. Included amongst such companies are Chevron, Mobil, Agip, and Total. Upon the decision of the oil producing companies to only patronize supply companies that have agency relationships with equipment manufacturers overseas, Cybernetics in 2004, in partnership with Multinational Expertise Limited – owned by Late Chief Aret Adams (former Group Managing Director of NNPC and also former Special Adviser to the President on Energy), signed an agreement with Craig Energy Services – a Scottish trading conglomerate to form a Joint Venture Company in Nigeria called Multinational Craig Services – (MCES). The Craig Group had been Cybernetic's main supplier of equipment, etc since 2000. MCES is now leveraging on the Craig Group's global franchise agreements with major multinational equipment manufacturers to service the supply needs in the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria. Dr. Imo Itsueli, Chairman of Cadbury Nig Limited, former Chairman of NNPC, and owner and founder of Dubri Oil Producing Company is the current chairman of the company.
