This was a major break through for the company and thereafter, Yamini Builders began taking on medium sized contracts Since 1997 Yamini has increased its capacity to engage in major building and civil engineering works. Akright Projects Limited is a brain child of Mr. Anatoli Kamugisha, currently the Chief Executive Officer of the company. Prior to the birth of Akright, Anatoli served as the director of Kanoblic Group of Companies which worn several tenders and worked on several projects with renowned individuals, companies as well as international organizations. Among organizations and companies dealt with include; Lugazi Sugar Works (SCOUL) and Norwegian Forestry Society. The name Akright Projects Ltd., is an acronym derived from Anatoli Kamugisha [AK] doing the right projects. A housing research carried out in 1999, revealed a huge housing backlog and lack of orderliness in building individual residences. Anatoli got a vision to avail professionally designed residences in master planned estates, beyond what Kanoblic Group provided. Anatoli's prudent way of running business, plus financial support from shareholders and financial institutions accumulated for him reasonable capital to nurture his vision of providing orderliness in the housing industry. It was against this background that Akright Projects Ltd. was established.
