This service is separate from the main Emergency Department. Backed by Emergency Department physicians, Fast Track is staffed by a certified registered nurse practitioner or physician assistant, a registration clerk and support team. Patients need to complete the triage process in the main emergency department to ensure accurate assessment. Once they are referred to Fast Track, patients can be seen within minutes. We make specialty medical facilities available to Tanzanian citizens on an equitable basis. Regency aims to reduce medical referrals abroad, earn more revenue for the country, and most importantly, retain our Tanzanian doctors and nurses in-country by offering them jobs and career opportunities, using the latest medical technology and infrastructure. The IST Medical Scheme was initiated in 1998 as an independent non profit trust. In 1999 a new clinic was built and fully equipped.
