Reals Group started as Reals Pharmaceuticals Limited, a company that commenced its operation as the local scientific and marketing office of Zeneca Pharmaceuticals Limited, now AstraZeneca U.K. Today, the scope of our operations has extended beyond just being the local scientific and marketing office for AstraZeneca to becoming the sole Nigeria representative and distributor of a number of other first class pharmaceutical industries in the world. Reals Pharmaceuticals Limited was one of the first pharmaceutical companies to successfully commence the local scientific and marketing office in Nigeria. In 1996, the idea of scientific and marketing office was new to the pharmaceutical industry. It nevertheless required creative thinking, determination, courage and patience to implement. The company was incorporated as a limited liability company in August 1995. It started operations on January 2nd 1996, with a team of six, comprising of the General Manager, Pharm, Ade Popoola and five medical representatives. The new millennium has come with its various challenges, one of which is the very dynamic business environment. To meet these challenges, the group has gone into strategic alliance with some companies both within and outside Nigeria for contract manufacturing arrangement to manufacture REALS range of ethical and consumer healthcare pharmaceutical brands. On October 10th 2008 the group relocated to its own purposely built corporate headquarters, REALS PLAZA, located at Plot 1 Junaid Dosunmu Street, Central Business District, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos. Hitherto, its head office was situated at All Seasons Plaza, Agidingbi, Ikeja. Reals group is a very relevant and active player in the Nigerian very competitive pharmaceutical market, possessing both spread and reach in the very vast and fertile Nigerian business terrain. Our sales and medical representatives are spread across all the six geo-political zones that make up the nation Nigeria.

Drugfield Pharmaceuticals Limited, a wholly indigenous Nigerian company, was founded in 1991 and commenced production in 1993 as a drug manufacturing outfit after approval and due recognition of relevant agencies and bodies including the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN). From an initial product dosage form of dermatological antibiotic and antifungal preparations, our facility now houses additional dosage form manufacturing areas for antibiotic dry syrups, capsules, tablets, ointments, creams, gels, powders, eye/ear drops, small and large volume liquid injectable preparations, nasal drops amongst others. In all modesty, we pride ourselves as the highest product portfolio carrier in the industry with over 140 registered product range. The completion in March 2012 of our ultra modern current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) compliant manufacturing facility for the production of intravenous infusion products (large volume parenterals), creams and gels as well as sterile ophthalmics has enhanced our competence to respond to global operational demands and acceptance.
