Using their expertise in water chemistry and the latest technology to build a state-of-the-art Table Water Plant, the end result is a quality consumer product named AQUADANA. AQUADANA water is derived from a natural source, which then goes through a series of filtration processes as per WHO specifications, followed by ozonization & U-V treatment. The end result is a crystal-clear water that is pure and safe for drinking. This is then hygienically packaged into top quality, tamper-proof, PET bottles of various sizes for your assurance and convenience. From start to finish, treatment and packaging are technology based to guarantee quality and wholesomeness. The custom-built factory is managed by highly qualified and experienced staff who are experts in this field.

Great Diversity
The Group’s interests are diverse, the most significant of which are the manufacture of fast-moving consumer goods such as sugar, flour, salt and spaghetti / macaroni. Additionally, the Group has made huge investments in the Nigerian cement industry ranging from import terminals with bagging plants, polypropylene sack factory, several greenfield projects and some rehabilitation projects at Benue Cement Company Plc. Other interests include commercial real estate complexes and a fleet of over 1,500 trucks. Recent additions to the Group’s portfolio include the acquisition of oil blocks no 1 (9%) and no. 3 (10%) in the Nigeria / Sao-Tome Joint Development Zone in conjunction with Chevron Texaco and Exxon-Mobil (block 1). Quality and efficiency

Main Objectives

Responsibility
Dangote Group has established a philanthropic organisation named Dangote Foundation, which is dedicated to providing assistance to less-privileged Nigerians mainly in the development of Education, Health Care Facilities, Water Supply, Poverty Alleviation and Sports.

Kinyara Sugar Works Ltd is the leading grower of sugarcane in Uganda and one of the largest producer of sugar in East Africa. The Kinyara Sugar Works Limited Factory now produces over 64,000 tonnes of sugar per year from around 670,000 tonnes of sugar cane. The sugar produced meets Ugandan quality standards and is therefore suitable for direct consumption without further treatment or refining. The sugar product is called Plantation White or Mill White sugar.The Kinyara Sugar Works factory employs approximately 560 permanent workers who operate the factory on a continuous 24 hour, 7 day operation for over 10 months of the year. Annual out-of-crop maintenance is carried out within a 6 - 8 week period in October/November each year. During the operating season the Factory shuts down for planned maintenance regularly to carry out essential routine maintenance and parts renewal. To ensure continuous running, the factory operates a three rotating shift pattern of work with shift teams being supported by day staff and senior management. The Factory is divided into two sections, Engineering and Production. Â
